Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions are applicable to any order or booking with Pear Paper Co.
By paying your deposit you are entering into a contract with Pear Paper Co and acknowledging that you have read and agreed to the Terms and Conditions outlined below. We highly recommend reading through these terms and conditions thoroughly, as well as the delivery information and frequently asked questions page before ordering.

By continuing to use this website as well as our products or services, you are agreeing to comply with the following terms and conditions, along with our privacy policy.

The term Pear Paper Co, or 'us', or 'we', or 'I' refers to the owner of the website, Samantha Tongue (contact: pearpaperco@outlook.com). The term 'you' refers to the user of our website and products/services. or the customer.

We reserve the right to amend our terms and conditions at any time, please refer to back to this page regularly.

 

R E T U R N S   &   R E F U N D S

We can not accept returns as our wedding invitations and stationery items are personalised especially for you and therefore cannot be re-sold. If you are unhappy with your order for any reason please contact us at pearpaperco@outlook.com.
If we, Pear Paper Co, have made an error in your order, we will correct this and reprint the items, sending them out to you as quickly as possible.
If an error has been made on your part and you did not pick up on it during the proofing stage, this is not the responsibility of Pear Paper Co. Re-printing may be possible but at an additional charge to the customer.
If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please notify us via email within 5 days of receiving it. We will endeavour to replace any damaged stationery items but we will require photographic proof or a return so that we can check over the damage and pursue the issue with our delivery providers.

 

C A N C E L L A T I O N S

If you decide to cancel your order, in order to receive a refund of any monies paid, cancellations must be made within 12 hours of ordering. After this time, we can not cancel your order as the design work on your stationery will have begun. 

After 12 hours of ordering, if you decide to cancel, any monies paid prior to cancellation are non refundable. Ownership of all copyrights and the artwork produced will be retained by Pear Paper Co and any use of the artwork by the client after cancellation is not permitted.

In the unlikely event that we, Pear Paper Co, are not able to complete your order due to illness or events out of our control, payments will be refunded where relevant, and we will provide you with recommendations for other reputable designers to complete the work.

 

P A Y M E N T

Payment must be made through the methods we offer: credit, debit card or Paypal through our website, bank transfer or Paypal if ordering directly.

All prices are in UK Pound Sterling and are subject to change without notice. Once you have checked out and your order is confirmed, the prices are secure. Personalised quotes stand for 30 days, after which pricing may be subject to change.
Pear Paper Co reserves the right to decline any query or order at their discretion.

For all orders placed through our website, payment is required in full before any design work will be provided to you.

For orders placed directly with us by email, full payment is required upfront for all orders under £100. For all orders over £100, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon booking with the remaining balance due before any final proofs are sent to print.

We do not provide any personalised proofs prior to payment or deposit being received.

 

C O P Y R I G H T   &   O W N E R S H I P

Any product we may provide to you are for personal use only, you may not sell or re-distribute the products you receive, nor may you reproduce the design. All design remain copyright of Pear Paper Co 2024 and any infringement of our intellectual property will be pursued.

Bespoke designs remain the copyright of Pear Paper Co and we retain the right to use them for any reason, including for other clients, however we will always wait until your wedding date has passed before we do so.

Due to licensing restrictions, Pear Paper Co is unable to provide font files for any fonts used within your personalised or bespoke designs. Should you wish to use the fonts, you are responsible for obtaining a licence for usage of the font and any fees involved in the purchase and/or licensing of the font.

Pear Paper Co reserves the right to use any designs and photography featuring the designs within advertising material, website, blog or social media pages. We will always remove any identifying personal data, e.g. email address, address, dates and times of weddings, before we share the images.

We retain the right over the artwork of all of our samples and these must not be copied or reproduced in any way. All samples are unpersonalised. We do not provide personalised samples unless confirmed in writing with you, and an agreed fee being paid by you.

Our logo and photographs on our website remain property of Pear Paper Co at all times and may not be used without our written permission.

 

T I M I N G S   &   D E A D L I N E S

Any timings given are for estimation purposes only unless you, the client, have a set deadline. If you have a set deadline in mind, this must be agreed with us by email before ordering. We cannot be held responsible for any delays if you do not disclose your deadline to use in writing prior to ordering.

It is the customers responsibility to adhere to any personal deadlines with regards to your stationery, and to respond swiftly to proofs and emails in order to meet these deadlines.

It is the customers responsibility to thoroughly check their proofs ensuring that wording, spelling and grammar is all correct, and to check the layout and colour to ensure that they meet your expectations. Once proofs are signed off by you, we cannot take responsibility for any errors missed and may need to charge for reprints, unless errors have been made by us. 

Please ensure you have ordered the correct number of prints for your stationery. It can be prohibitively expensive to order additional quantities separate to your main order, and you will incur a charge for these. If you order too many, we cannot refund you for any items you do not need unless they have not yet been approved by you for print.

 

C O L O U R   &   Q U A L I T Y

We will always do our utmost to provide you with a high quality product that meets our high standards. 

Whilst we make every effort to ensure colour is as accurate as possible in our photos and digital proofs, colours can vary between different screens and devices so may not be a true representation of the colour in print. We recommend viewing digital proofs on a desktop or laptop computer rather than a tablet or phone to get a more accurate idea of the colour.

We endeavour to ensure colours are consistent through all our products and samples, however due to the printing process, the final product may not be an exact match to proofs and/or samples.

Table Plans and large scale signs are printed on a different printer and paper stock to our other stationery and therefore will not be an exact colour match to other stationery.
